Horse Heritage Festival 2017
The TOVEA organized Horse Heritage Festival, held October 15th at the San Marcos Walnut Grove and Heritage Parks, raised over $8,000.00 for the Horse Heritage Conservancy. Crowds of local horse enthusiasts began arriving as soon as the gates opened to watch a variety of horse related exhibitions, from prancing miniatures to jousting and mounted drill teams. The HHF also hosted local vendors representing equine veterinary care an rescue organizations, merchants and trainers, a petting zoo provided by our San Marcos High School FFA chapter, the always popular Pony Rides, as well as fun games and crafts for the kids. TOVEA and HHC would like to give a special thanks to the many volunteers who rallied together to make this years event a success, and we're looking forward to seeing all of YOU at next years festival!
